The effects of ocean acidification on marine phytoplankton – CSIRO OCE postdoctoral fellow (collaboration with Dr Richard Matear and Prof John Beardall)

  • The effects of climate change on marine and freshwater systems
  • The effects of elevated CO2 and UVR on microalgae
  • The energetics of algal photosynthesis and calcification
  • Nutrient status of microalgae
  • Use of biospectroscopy (RAMAN and FTIR) in microalgal research
  • Role of benthic microalgae in modulating nutrient fluxes between sediments and water column
  • Role of benthic algae in primary production in aquatic systems
