Research Interests

  • Landscape genetics. Evaluating dispersal abilities of birds in fragmented landscapes of box-ironbark forests in Victoria using genetic tools.
  • Evolution, phylogeography and population genetics of Eurasian birds. Using DNA sequences to infer evolutionary history of widespread co-distributed species.
  • Effects of habitat fragmentation on genetic structure and viability of squirrel glider populations. Inferring evolutionary history and population dynamics from genetic data.
